Saved by Grace Ministries Needs Your Help

Saved by Grace Ministries lacks the funds necessary to continue its ministry, unless it receives immediate support. We pray you will consider making a tax deductible donation to allow it to continue its ministry to those in need around the world.

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), Saved by Grace Ministries began using the Internet, in April 2003, to serve the spiritual needs of God’s children by sharing the truth of His Word and the good news of His gift of salvation by grace, through faith, for whomsoever believes in His Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. People groups around the world were reached in God’s name over the years as many responded to the Gospel. As requests for help addressing the physical needs of God’s children increased over the years (especially the needs of orphans, widows, and struggling ministries in impoverished countries), Saved by Grace Ministries, under God’s guidance and in response to James’ call to action (James 2:14-17), incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit organization in March 2013, so it could more effectively raise funds to support its humanitarian efforts around the world.

Since that time, your generous support, through prayers and donations, has resulted in:

  • Gospel tract and Bible study translations and distributions in Kenya
  • Feeding of orphans in India and Kenya
  • Medical treatment of orphans in Kenya
  • Medical treatment of Pastor and family in Liberia and Kenya
  • Saving orphanage from foreclosure in Kenya
  • Evangelism and Pastor Training teleconferences in India and Kenya
  • Reconstruction of demolished church in Kenya

And much more.

From the beginning, Saved by Grace Ministries has committed that 100% of every designated donation goes to the mission/project to which it is designated. 100%. Every single penny. Any overhead costs, such as wire transfer fees, bank fees, accounting fees, operating costs such as Internet fees, utilities, international long distance, insurance, etc. are all paid for out of a general fund which is funded by donations which are either “undesignated” or are specifically designated to Saved by Grace’s General Fund. The General Fund is used to cover the operating and overhead costs and, on occasion, is drawn from to assist with various missions/projects depending on need. Saved by Grace Ministries believes that backing down on this commitment and instituting a policy of taking a percentage of each donation to apply towards overhead costs would begin a slippery slope that too many other well-intentioned ministries have self-destructed from. Saved by Grace Ministries would rather shut down its ministry than to change its policy.

Unfortunately, that is exactly the situation Saved by Grave Ministries is currently facing without your help. Saved by Grace Ministries lacks the funds necessary to continue its ministry, unless it receives immediate support. We pray you will consider making a tax deductible donation to Saved by Grace Ministries’ General Fund to allow it to continue its ministry to those in need around the world. You may do so by clicking the Donate button below. May God richly bless you for your generosity.

The grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you always,

Rev. James Christopher Has Passed Away

It is with sad and heavy heart that I announce that my brother in Christ, Rev. James Christopher, of Yesu dharana Hathamu seva samaja (very loosely translated as “Jesus Helping Hands Society”) in India, has passed away. While we rejoice that he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, we mourn the loss of his presence here among us.

It is with sad and heavy heart that I announce that my brother in Christ, Rev. While we rejoice that he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, we mourn the loss of his presence here among us.

Bro. James passed away February 7, 2017, due to jaundice. His aunt shared the unfortunate news with me when she tracked me down via Facebook a few weeks later. Within days I was also contacted by his mother and his wife: V. Mounika. He and his wife have two young children.

An important part of Bro. James’ ministry included the care of twenty (20) orphans. V. Mounika has informed me she intends to carry on this portion of her late husband’s ministry. This is definitely a labor of love and not an easy task. Please pray for V. Mounika, her children, and the orphans daily.

Finally, please join me in prayer for Bro. James’ family and those touched by his ministry. If you would like to make a donation to his family and ministry, you may do so by clicking the Donate button below.

The grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you always,
Bro. Chris

I Need Your Help

I need your help. Saved By Grace Ministries needs your financial support if it is to continue its ministry. Without your support, the ministry will have to cease its operation.

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I pray you and your family are doing well and are richly blessed as we enter this holiday season.

Throughout the years, you have seen posts by my ministry, Saved by Grace Ministries, requesting prayers and financial support for various needs around the world. What you may not realize because I do not do a lot of “advertising” is that 100% of every designated donation is applied to the mission/project the donation was designated for. 100%. Every single penny. Any overhead costs, such as wire transfer fees, bank fees, accounting fees, operating costs such as Internet fees, utilities, international long distance, etc. are all paid for out of a general fund which is funded by donations which are either “undesignated” or are specifically designated to Saved by Grace’s General Fund. These donations are used to cover the operating and overhead costs and are also applied to various missions/projects depending on need.

I need your help. Saved By Grace Ministries needs your financial support if it is to continue its ministry. Without your support, the ministry will have to cease its operation. With your tax deductible donation, Saved by Grace Ministries will be able to continue providing support to other impoverished ministries around the world. With your support, Saved by Grace Ministries will be able to continue to apply 100% of all designated donations to the missions/projects for which they are intended making sure the funds are used where they are needed.

I pray you will consider supporting my ministry to allow me to continue supporting others around the world. Together, there is nothing we cannot accomplish. May God bless you for your compassion and generosity.

Cost of Doing the Lord’s Work

I am contacting you, requesting your help. While Saved by Grace Ministries does everything to keep its expenses at a minimum, it still cost money to do the Lord’s work. There are costs for insurance, international long distance, Internet services, and other processing fees that must be paid on a regular basis to continue doing the projects and missions that Saved by Grace Ministries currently perform. Please pray about making a tax deductible donation to Saved by Grace Ministries so that it can continue to assist those in need around the world.

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

I pray you are doing well and are richly blessed.

Saved by Grace Ministries has been very busy providing assistance to those in need around the world. If you have been following our posts, you will recall some recent accomplishments, such as saving an orphanage in Kenya (see “God Saves Kenya Orphanage Through Your Generous Donations“), made possible only by your compassion and generous donations. Other projects Saved by Grace Ministries has been involved with include Pastors Conferences in India and Preaching engagements in Kenya, both via teleconference. Currently, Saved by Grace Ministries is attempting to provide food supplies for orphans, widows, and those less fortunate in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Kenya, India, and Pakistan.

Requesting Your Prayers for Personal Healing

I am reaching out to all of the prayer warriors who read my posts to please pray for my well being. In recent visits with my doctor, he has expressed concern over two issues regarding my health.

James 5:14-16 (NASB)
14  Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; 15  and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. 16  Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

Rev. Christopher M. Fulgham
Bro. Chris

I am reaching out to all of the prayer warriors who read my posts to please pray for my well being. In recent visits with my doctor, he has expressed concern over two issues regarding my health.

  1. My doctor thinks I may be developing diabetes. He has run some tests and I should hear something regarding the outcomes later this week. Please be in prayer that if the Lord wills, the tests come back negative. Regardless of the results, please pray that the Lord gives me the will power to take better care of myself through proper diet and exercise.
  2. Recent tests have discovered a “spot” on my liver that was not there three months ago. According to my doctor, it does not look like a tumor; but, it does look like a possible clot in a blood vessel. This afternoon (02-19-2015) at 1:30 pm CST, I will have some tests run at the hospital to determine if I have blood clots in my extremities and in my heart valves, which may have “thrown off” a clot and lodged in my liver. Whatever the cause, please pray that the Lord (if it be His will) would safely heal the spot on my liver and restore my entire body to health.

I am currently at peace knowing the Lord is in control. In each case, please pray that the Lord’s will be done and that I would continue to receive the peace that surpasses all understanding as He continues to give me grace sufficient for each day.

Philippians 4:4-7 (NASB)
4  Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 5  Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7  And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NASB)
9  And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10  Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

Philippians 4:13 (NASB)
13  I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

Thank you in advance for your prayers of support and healing.

May the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you always,
Bro. Chris

Donating to Saved by Grace Ministries and Its Missions and Projects

I know it can be a little overwhelming given the number of needs expressed by the various international ministries which ask Saved by Grace Ministries for assistance. Nonetheless, my heart is touched by the recent responses of compassion and generosity which saved an orphanage in Kenya which was in danger of being lost.

Proverbs 3:9 (NASB)
9  Honor the LORD from your wealth And from the first of all your produce;

Hebrews 13:16 (NASB)
16  And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Nonetheless, my heart is touched by the recent responses of compassion and generosity which saved an orphanage in Kenya which was in danger of being lost (see “God Saves Kenya Orphanage Through Your Generous Donations!” for details).

Donations

You work hard for your money and have expectations regarding how your donations are being used. Rest assured, 100% of your tax deductible donations go towards the ministry projects you designate. All processing fees and other overhead expenses are paid by Saved by Grace Ministries through its general fund. Undesignated donations go towards the general fund and are used to pay the processing fees and overhead expenses, such as insurance. There are basically three categories of donations: specifically designated, generally designated, and undesignated.

Specifically designated donations are those donations which are made by clicking the Donate button in a page or post regarding a specific mission or project. Any donations received are used as specifically designated/described by that page or post.

Generally designated donations are those donations that are made by clicking the Donate button within one of the general designations located on the right side of the webpage. General designations include Mission Trips, Bibles and Gospel Tract Distribution, and Orphans, Widows, and the Less Fortunate.

Undesignated donations are those donations that are made by clicking the Donate button labeled Saved by Grace, Inc. located on the right side of the webpage. As stated above, any donations received in this category are used to pay processing fees and overhead expenses.

Current Needs

  • Saved by Grace Ministries has had a number of requests for Bibles recently in various native languages. Please consider donating to this need by clicking on the Donate button labeled Bibles and Gospel Tract Distribution located on the right side of the webpage.
  • I have been invited by Rev. Abraham Siafa of Spring of Joy Ministries to participate in the grand opening of his new church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, April 24-26. Springs of Joy Ministries will cover the cost of lodging; but, Saved by Grace Ministries will need to cover the travel costs (approximately $500). Please consider donating to this need by clicking the Donate button labeled Mission Trips located on the right side of the webpage.
  • It is that time of year when Saved by Grace Ministries has to renew its insurance ($500 by March 29) and pay a number of other overhead expenses. Please consider donating to these needs by clicking the Donate button labeled Saved by Grace, Inc. located on the right side of the webpage.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration of these ministry needs. May the Lord bless you for your generosity.

Thanks again for your support of Saved by Grace Ministries and its various missions and projects. It is through your generous prayers and donations that Saved by Grace Ministries is able to meet the spiritual and physical needs of others around the world.

The grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you always,

Bro. Chris

God Saves Kenya Orphanage Through Your Generous Donations!

Praise be to God and to all of you who so generously donated. The orphanage has been saved!!! Because of your compassion, thoughtfulness, and generosity, the money needed to save the orphanage was raised in time to pay off the debts owed before the deadline. Praise the Lord and thank you so much! You will never know this side of Heaven how much it means to me that you selflessly and sacrificially gave to save the orphans from a terrible fate. May God reward each of you and richly bless you exceedingly beyond your ability to measure! Thank you.

Orphans 021 - NYARENDA CHILDREN’S HOME CENTREOlorei Independent Fellowships was in danger of losing its orphanage, Nyarenda Chirldren’s Home Centre, on Monday, February 9, 2015, if it could not raise $810 to pay off expenses incurred by the recent injury and death of one of its orphans, Bivon Nyamwamu Makori (see “Urgent: Olorei Independent Fellowships in Danger of Losing Orphanage” for details).

Urgent: Olorei Independent Fellowships in Danger of Losing Orphanage

Olorei Independent Fellowships is in danger of losing its orphanage, Nyarenda Chirldren’s Home Centre, on Monday, February 9, 2015, if it cannot raise $810 to pay off expenses incurred by the recent injury and death of one of its orphans, Bivon Nyamwamu Makori.

Orphans 021 - NYARENDA CHILDREN’S HOME CENTREOlorei Independent Fellowships is in danger of losing its orphanage, Nyarenda Chirldren’s Home Centre, on Monday, February 9, 2015, if it cannot raise $810 to pay off expenses incurred by the recent injury and death of one of its orphans, Bivon Nyamwamu Makori (see “Update (01-28-2015): Bivon Nyamwamu Makori” and “Follow Up: Bivon Nyamwamu Makori” for details).

Because they did not have the money for Bivon’s medical and funeral expenses ($260 and $550 respectively – the county clerk took care of the $150 needed for Bivon’s coffin), Olorei Independent Fellowships was forced to use the title deed of the land of the orphanage as a guarantee to pay these expenses. While allowing Bivon’s funeral to proceed yesterday, this only bought Olorei Independent Fellowships an extra week to raise the money. If they fail to pay the $810 by Monday, February 9, 2015, the land of the orphanage will be confiscated. The orphanage will be lost. The remaining 18 orphans will be homeless.

Your help is urgently needed to prevent the loss of the orphanage. Please consider making a tax deductible donation, of any amount, by clicking the button below. Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and quick attention to this matter. May God bless you abundantly.

The grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you always,
Bro. Chris

PS) Any amount raised in excess of the $810 will first be applied towards the $350 still due to the county clerk for orphan Thomas Onsakia Robert’s funeral (see “Memorial Service: Thomas Onsakia Robert” for details) and then to supplying food for the remaining orphans.

UPDATE (February 9, 2015): PRAISE THE LORD! GOD SAVES ORPHANAGE! Please see “God Saves Kenya Orphanage Through Your Generous Donations!” for details.
